Welcome to the Light Hands Horsemanship blog.

Welcome to Light Hands Horsemanship's new blog. This blog is for you! We have created it in an effort to keep you updated and informed on our upcoming 2010 and future events.  We hope that you will feel free to ask questions about Light Hands Horsemanship and make comments about any past experiences at a previous Light Hands Horsemanship Clinic that you may have attended. We constantly strive to bring you the very best horsemanship event possible.  Any comments and suggestions are welcomed and appreciated. This is a great format to keep in touch and  interact with others who will be attending or who have attended in the past. You will also be able  to find room mates, shared rides and talk to others about  past LHH experiences.

We are already working on the 2010 event. It will be May 20-23 at Intrepid Farms in beautiful Santa Ynez, CA. Jack Brainard of TX will be joining us for his second year. He was such a huge hit we just had to ask him  back. If you got to see him at our 2009 event you also know what a great story teller he is.

Richard Winters of CA will be our guest clinician in 2010. He is the 2009 winner of Road to the Horse among many other prestigious equestrian wins and awards. We are very excited and honored to have Richard join us. He is a remarkable horseman and fits right in with the other exceptional horsemen/clinicians that you look forward to seeing each year.

In 2010 LHH will have a full 3 days of clinics. The museum tours will be on Thurs the 19th. In 2009 we added the Santa Ynez Valley Museum and Carriage Collection so you now have 3 outstanding collections of western and cowboy memorabilia to enjoy.

We had quite a gathering of quality vendors and they all plan to return in 2010. We will have some new vendors as well.

The LHH website will continue to be updated all year so check back often.

We don't want to be the "biggest" horsemanship event, we just want to be the "best."  Your comments will help us to achieve this. We look forward to hearing from you.

We wish you all many "Happy Trails" until we meet again!!

Yours,
LHH

    Hi Debbie, Eitan and all!
Jack and I can hardly wait until Light Hands Horsemanship 2010! I had such a good time last month in California. The event was so special. How exciting to be on the forefront of the growth of Cowboy Dressage! Thank You!!!

The 2009 Light Hands Horsemanship was the first clinic I have ever
been to. It was truly amazing. The knowledgeable clinicians and GREAT
    shopping were so impressive.

Art Perry is an amazing host and Intrepid Farms is beautiful and the
most perfect place to hold this clinic. Debbie did a wonderful job of
organizing and the vendors were outstanding and top-of-the-line.

Every one of the clinicians was so friendly and down to earth.

I will do this, as my "vacation", every year.

Every year I want so much to attend this event, and every year I don't quite make it. I am so impressed with Eitan's Cowboy Dressage, and it is my dream to be able to ride 'my' horse so collected and 'easy'. I dream of owning a Morgan, someday.
I think what would make it easier for me to sign up, would be more information on where to stay, how far away from an airport, how hard it is to find, etc. some of those details keep me away. I would be traveling by myself, and this makes it more difficult when I am not familiar with anyone or the area.

Thanks, and I will see you there or at one of your clinics very soon, Anne fro Petaluma, CA.
